Starting
at a early age, played cornet in the Cottenham Salvation Army
band. Went onto play for Haddenham Silver and City of
Cambridge
bands on Solo cornet whilst playing for a Jazz band on trumpet
and trombone. Swapped to Bb bass with
Epsom and Ewell
, and
Shirley
bands. Guested in the area with Somersham and RAF Wyton
Voluntary Military bands. Initially played for Waterbeach
as a guest on Bb bass but prefers the lighter Eb now for
carrying!
