Stygall - Principal Cornet
James
began playing the trumpet at 10, appearing on television with
his school band only two years later. He only picked up a
cornet at age 14, joining the Southampton Youth Brass
Band, and still claims "if you can play one properly, you
can play the other!" After a long break from Brass bands,
playing in local orchestras, concerts bands and church groups,
he joined Waterbeach Brass in 2003. He currently is a committee
member. |

Keith
Blomerley -
Repiano Cornet
Keith started playing the
Trumpet aged 8 and moved over to the Cornet at secondary school
in 1979. Keith has played for many brass bands, his first
band was Prestwich near Manchester; he joined us from Gillingham
Concert Brass in 1997. |
